Whakakitenga provides a unique virtual reality experience of te ao Māori and the colonial encounter, through the eyes of Ngati Toa chief Te Rangihaeata. It takes the viewer back in time to nineteenth-century Aotearoa New Zealand, a pivotal moment of change for the people of Ngati Toa.
